About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Marquee Pickleball Club website. By using this site you accept them. Separate terms apply to memberships and bookings, which are made through our booking provider, CourtReserve.

Information on this site

We work to keep the information here accurate, but the club is not yet open and details including opening dates, pricing, schedules, programs and facilities may change.

Any prices published later will be in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Nothing on this website is a binding offer.

Bookings and cancellations

Court bookings, memberships and program registrations are made through CourtReserve and are subject to their terms as well as ours.

• Court bookings may be cancelled without charge up to 24 hours before the reserved start time.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours are charged in full, because the court can rarely be refilled at short notice.
• Programs, clinics and leagues have their own cancellation terms, published at the point of registration.
• Memberships are month-to-month and may be cancelled before the next billing date. Fees already paid are not refundable in part.

We may cancel or reschedule a session, program or event. Where we do, you will be offered a transfer or a refund of amounts paid for that session.

Club rules and conduct

Everyone playing at the club agrees to the following.

• Indoor court shoes with non-marking soles must be worn on court. This is a safety requirement and is enforced.
• Treat staff, coaches and other players with respect. Abusive or discriminatory behaviour will end your session and may end your membership.
• Follow session formats and rotations so everyone gets fair court time.
• Play at the skill level you have registered for. Sessions are levelled so games stay safe and competitive.
• Guests must have an account and a completed waiver on file before playing.

We may refuse entry or remove anyone from the facility for breaching these rules, without refund.

Assumption of risk

Pickleball is a physical sport carrying an inherent risk of injury. By playing at the club you accept that risk.

All players are required to complete a waiver before their first session. You are responsible for making sure you are medically fit to take part, and for stopping if you feel unwell or injured.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the club is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or the facility.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We are not responsible for personal property brought onto the premises. Do not leave valuables unattended.

Third-party services and links

This website links to and embeds third-party services, including the CourtReserve booking portal and Google Maps. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Intellectual property

The Marquee Pickleball Club name, logo, and the content and design of this website are owned by the club or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

Photography at the club

We may take photographs and video at the club and at events for promotional use. If you would prefer not to appear, tell a member of staff and we will make sure you are excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Ontario.
